I would never question the will of God or the Calling of his Pastors, but as a human with human thoughts, I do not understand the need for another church in the Columbus Area. I would think that a better calling would be an area where there are little to no knowledge of whom God is.
I think Columbus is a town that has a lot of unchurched people that the existing churches need to do a better job of reaching them. But wouldn’t a new church be better served by reaching an area oblivious to whom God is?
On the other hand, maybe we as Christians are not doing what we should be doing to reach those in our “own backyard” and A new church could reach them. But even then, wouldn’t a new church be better served by reaching the lost and allowing those converts to fill their seats as opposed to trying to fill their seats with members of another church.
May God bless all of His called Pastors and the ministry in which they are called. May those Pastors honor God by using His calling to reach the lost souls of the world and not for their own selfish gain.
